Guidelines for writing your wedding registry
Please
follow these instructions for an error-free entry. Entries may be edited for
grammar, length and style. Make sure to proofread several times and
triple-check the spellings of names. For more information, please email weddings@pmtpublishing.com or call

Punctuation and style
- Honor attendant titles are not
capitalized. Example: maid of honor, best man, bridesmaids, groomsmen.
- Ring bearer and flower girl are
two words
- Abbreviate Dr. and Rev.
- Do not use the courtesy titles
Ms. or Mr. when listing attendants.
- For a one-page registry, please

period.
- Do not use the state name if
the city or town is in Alabama. Spell out the names of all
other states.
- Separate names and titles with
commas if the title comes after the name. Example: Jane Smith, maid of
honor.
- Use a comma between the day and
year in a date, as well as after the year. Example: May 1, 2007, at First Baptist Church.
- When listing a month and date
or month, date and year, abbreviate Jan., Feb., Aug., Sept., Oct., Nov.
and Dec. Spell out when using only the month and year. Example: Jan. 10; Jan. 10, 2007; January 2007.
- Abbreviate Junior and Senior as
Jr. and Sr. following names. Do not use a comma before these titles or before
numerical titles. Example: John Smith Sr.; John Smith III
- Spell out numbers one through
nine. Use numerals for 10 and over.
